Black Bean Dark Chocolate Chip Cake

DANGEROUS! You will devour the entire thing if you don’t immediately bring it to a friend/neighbor/share with family.

9-inch baking pan required
1 can black beans drained and rinsed
5 large eggs
1 tbsp vanilla extract
1/2 tsp salt
6 tbsp butter (or substitute with banana)
3/4 cup sugar (can substitute with agave)
6 tbsp cocoa powder
1 tsp baking powder
1/2 tsp baking soda
1 tbsp water

Preheat oven to 350º.

Grease pan and dust with some cocoa powder (not the 6 tbsp!).

Combine beans, eggs, vanilla, sugar, and salt in the blender and liquify it.

Add the rest of the ingredients (butter, cocoa, soda, powder, water) and blend.

Pour into pan and bake 30-40 minutes. Mine took 45.

Let cool in pan for about 10-15 minutes, then flip over onto plate. Dust with powdered sugar (optional and obviously not healthy).
